Black Friday Haul

Canada doesn't have Black Friday unfortunately, but some stores were having some deals. They weren't as exciting as the deals in the States, so i didn't end up getting anything that was on sale.

Victoria's Secret was doing a promotion. Spend $75 or more and get a free tote. I thought the tote looked so pretty, and i really wanted some things in there so i just chose that time to buy it. Unfortunately i cannot show you what i bought because some are gifts.

Came with a plush doggie. Super love!

That's the tote that they gave me, it's big and so sturdy! I would actually use it on a normal day if only it has a zipper. for now, it's a perfect shopping bag.

I didn't realize that inside the tote was a bag of goodies!!! Lovely surprise!

This past weekend, i finally went to the Lisa's Cosmetic sale which i go every year. I didn't spend a lot this year though. The best part was finding Cargo makeup palette's for $10!

Electrical tooth brushes, refillable's, AAA batteries, Cargo palette, Escada perfume, shaving gel, hand lotion, and CHOCOLATE for 4 for $1!!!

Last purchase is Cargo's Blu Ray HD press powder. I didn't plan on getting it but i had misplaced my Estee Lauder Pressed powder, so i had to hurry and run out for a replacement.

I'm glad i did actually because i love the Cargo pressed powder so much! It's so smooth and doesn't look cakey no matter how much you pack on. AND it matches my shade perfectly! I am shade #20.

The only downside is that it doesn't come with a powder puff or a sponge. I do not like to carry brushes with me, and i like it when it has a little space where i can keep a puff inside (i know not sanitary).

Other than that, i LOVE it!

Review- Circle Lens- Candy Brown

Sorry i haven't done this review yet, it was in my draft a while ago, but i sort of forgot about it and got lazy to put contents and you know...things just piled up...

These contacts are purchased from Pinkyparadise (wish they would sponsor me LOL). I always wanted to try a brown colored lens that will make me have dolly-like eyes, and these seem to do the trick.

These would be my favorite brown circle lens I've tried, though i wouldn't call them natural, but i think they really make my eyes pop. I love how opaque it is.
They are very comfortable, they didn't really make my eyes dry, as in, i didn't have to apply any eye drops throughout the say. I've worn these for about 6-7 hours.

Proud Moments

The sweetheart has recently (finally) graduated and received his Master's Degree. So proud of him because i know he's worked so hard. Sacrificing loads of "having a life" times with his non stop thesis, proposals and conferences what not's. You know, things that i wouldn't understand because i'm not an engineer.
I have to admit, we aren't a normal couple. We defiantly don't spend enough time together as normal couples would. We only see each other once or twice a week (three max), seeing as we're both busy with work. We never have time to go on mini road trips or vacations because we simply don't have the time for it. Sure i always envy other couples and i always compare (i know i shouldn't),but you know, I've stuck through with it for this long, i'm hoping things will be better now that he's done.

This is defiantly a great milestone in his life and i'm really happy for him. I wish i did something great with my life LOL!

My Name Necklace

I always wanted a necklace with my name on it, but couldn't ever find one with the right font.
Recently i discovered this website called my name necklace (i wish they would sponsor me lol). Click here.
They had these Carry style (from sex and the city) name necklaces that i fell in love with. Apparently i'm very slow, a lot of people already knew about this site.

You can choose from different thickness, fonts, real silver, gold, sterling silver...etc. Some even come with real diamonds or Swarovski crystals. I got mine in sterling silver, thin, and small wording.
Oh you can also choose how long you want the chain as well. 14", 16", 18", 20", and 22".

I was really dissapointed with the packaging. From watching youtube video and other blogger reviews, everyone got a nice box with the necklace inside. And here i got this flimsy thing.

I quite like it! The chain is still a bit long for my taste though, i wish it came even shorter! I do like how it's so thin though.

Halloween

Wow this is such a late post...
I didn't do much for Halloween this year, i only dressed up for work. I really wanted to try going trick or treating again, just so i don't feel so old, but my friends didn't want to do it. We ended up ordering Swiss chalet take out and watching a kiddie movie instead of scary movies.
Awesome right?
