Hello loves
So how many of you actually made New Years Resolutions (and actually keep them)?
One of mine was to blog at least once a week. Obviously i've already broken that one. Another one is to eat healthier and go on a diet. I haven't broken this one year, but i did give myself to try this diet out for half a year. So come June, i can either say "screw it", it's too hard! or "This is a piece of cake!"
I just told myself that i'm not allowed to eat any red meats, and eat more leafy greens.
I limited myself to only 2 meals a day (lunch and dinner).
For dinner, instead of rice i'll eat salad, and with salad, i'll eat grilled salmon or chicken breast. I've been eating salad every single day, and my food has gotten soooo boring! It's a good thing i enjoy salad otherwise i'll cave.
With that, i'm taking my usual omega-3 fish oil pills, my vitamin C and vitamin D and i think i'm going to add those gummy bears multi vitamin into my system. Everyone's been talking about the gummy bears!
What are your new year resolutions?
This is an update of my January. I've stopped carrying my ginormous DSLR around because of pure laziness, so phone pictures it is!
So at the beginning of the month, i had a hot pot dinner with all of my old co-workers. it was so nice seeing familiar faces again! I miss hot pot, but they serve majority red meats so i had a hard time picking and choosing what i could and couldn't eat.

Finally started using the lipbalms i got for last ears sephora birthday present. I love these things!!!
A few late items i got over the holidays. I know i know it's nearly February. Hey! Don't judge me! |

| They were selling these sparkly misty sprays at bath and body works, and they smell so nice and all that glitter was so tempting. I don't know when i'll ever be able to use them though, i can't look all sparkly at work. |

| I've been obsessed with candles. These were the first two i bought, but now my collection has tripled! Smells so gooood! |

| I got this at the umbra store, it's a tree kind of stand that holds your photos. I thought it was a nice replacement for my Christmas tree after i took it down. |

Oh oh oh! I also went to horse shoe valley and went tubing for the first time! Best thing ever! I felt like a kid again when i used to go tobogganing in the park =)
I had some relatives that came to Canada for the first time, so i took them out to eat lobster. And here is the CUTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEE baby Tristan!! My cousin's baby. Sooo adorable.
The past weekend i went to Dave and Busters for a friend's going away party. Haven't been there in a long time.

I also just realized that i haven't told you guys that i had permed my hair for the first time!! (and dyed it brown) I did it during my Shanghai trip back in November. I'm terrible i know, i still haven't put up any vacation pictures. I have no patience to sift through 3000+ photos :(
It still holds pretty well, but blow drying takes foreverrrrrr, i finally figured out what a diffuser was used for. Every time i bought a new hair dryer, i always threw away the duffuser not knowing what it was used for, then now i finally figured it out and had to go out and buy one because i threw them all out!! I'm such a loser.
