Review- Princess Mimi aka Bambi Lens in Sesame Grey

Hey everyone,

I've recently received a pair of Circle lens from LensVillage, they carry many different brands for circle lens as well as a wide variety to choose from.

The pair that i got are the Princess Mimi lens in Sesame. From looking at the pictures, it seemed to be very pretty and doll like. It is a a dark greyish colour with a subtle brownish ring for around the pupil area.

You can find these circle lens here

LensVillage also have a Facebook page. Please visit them here
They update all the time and often have contests and promotions going on.

The box was a bit destroyed and suffered a bit of abuse during it's journey of delivery.

Luckily, the contents inside were all safe and sound, thanks to bubble wrap! =)

Comes with the contacts and a case

I love the piggy case, it's SO cute!

I really like how it looks. The grey isn't that intense so it's good for everyday use without feeling the colour might be over whelming.

I am standing in front of the window facing outside to get some sunlight to hit my eyes.

With flash.

I'm really loving how good the colour show up on flash photography.

In a more shaded area, it looks like your eyes are twinkling =)

Alright, no more picture spam. I promise.

Overall

I think they are pretty comfortable, i wore them for 6 hours and my eyes were fine. My right eye did get a little dry after 5 hours and it was my fault for not bringing eye drops, but after you produce some tears moist your eyes again, they are good to go again, couldn't feel a thing. No pain and no redness as well.
I've had good experiences with The bambi series, the bambi green apple one that i had gotten some time ago was also very comfortable to wear.

The size is pretty big at 15mm diameter, and i always have a hard time putting them on because i have uneven eyes and they are pretty small to begin with. Because of the large size and the outer black ring you do get this dolly effect which i enjoy.

The colour is great in flash photography, you can clearly see the design and the colour in picture. Indoor or at night, you can still tell the colour is grey, though it may look like a dark dark grey in indoor light but it has this kind of twinkling affect which i think is pretty cool. Hard to explain. Makes me think of "fresh eyes", if that makes any sense at all.

I do recommend these circle lens mainly because of them being so comfortable and usually the colour is true to what you see in pictures.

Review- Circle Lens- Barbie King Size Circle Pink

Whooops, sorry guys, this post has been in my draft for the longest time and i kept forgetting to post it. Better late than never right?

These pink circle lens were purchased from Pinkyparadise, called Barbie Kind Size Circle Pink (link here) they are my first pair of pink colored contacts that i ever tried, and after watching and reading some reviews, i really wanted to try them. Unfortunately, these aren't as vibrant as i'd like them to be, most people i come in contact with couldn't even tell that they were pink colored. They described it as a grayish brownish color when seen from afar, and can only then realize it's pink when they are up close and really look at the color.

Overall

Though they aren't as vibrant (maybe because my eyes are really dark), they are very comfy to wear. I have worn them for 12 hours and it only started to get a bit dry and irritated on the 11th hour. They are for sure unnatural looking and really give your eyes enlarging effects.

Comfort: 8.5/10
Color/Vibrancy: 6/10

Review- Circle Lens- Mimi Apple Green 15mm (Tsubasa Bambi series)

Hello my dears,

Finally got around to do this review on the Mimi Apple Green Circle Lens.
These were also purchased from Pinkyparadise, and they are suuuuuper vibrant. I love these, i always loved the look of green eyes. Though they can look a bit unnatural in daylight since Asians don't typically have green eyes, but i think they are so pretty!

You can get these here

Overall

Again, i love these. They are very comfortable, i wore them for a full day and they didn't irritate my eyes. They are very vibrant, and very eye catching. Though a bit unnatural but nothing too crazy i would think. I think the color is very pretty. has some browns in it too.

Review- Circle Lens- Candy Brown

Hey guys,

Sorry i haven't done this review yet, it was in my draft a while ago, but i sort of forgot about it and got lazy to put contents and you know...things just piled up...

These contacts are purchased from Pinkyparadise (wish they would sponsor me LOL). I always wanted to try a brown colored lens that will make me have dolly-like eyes, and these seem to do the trick.
These ones are called Candy Brown by E.O.S.

Click here for the direct link.

These would be my favorite brown circle lens I've tried, though i wouldn't call them natural, but i think they really make my eyes pop. I love how opaque it is.
They are very comfortable, they didn't really make my eyes dry, as in, i didn't have to apply any eye drops throughout the say. I've worn these for about 6-7 hours.

Review: Circle Lens - Dolly Eye Grey

I love outrageous colored contacts, especially the ones that are super vibrant!
These contacts are purchased from Pinkyparadise, if anyone is interested, the direct link to these circle lens are here.

These ones are called: Dolly Eye Grey

Overall
These are so vibrant that you can see them in very very dim light, it completely covered my natural eye color and it's awesome for Halloween! Haha. The only down side to this is that it's not for everyday wear, unless you don't mind scarring people on a daily basis. It was also not very comfortable on me. I had to take them off within 4 hours because they were very drying, even after i put eye drops in. It may be different for others but i think my eyes are always on the dryer side.

Circle Lens Review- Violet

Hey everyone, as from my previous post, you know i have purchased a few circle lens from pinkyparadise. The shipping time took about a week and a half...which i think is a bit long because i bought from a different company before and it only took them 3 days to have it shipped to my home.

Regardless.

I'm going to do a review on the first pair that i tried on. It's a violet color but i'm not quite sure of the name. This was the free one i got when i used the "buy 2 get one free" code. But i know it's from EOS and after going through their circle lens the one that i think comes the closest is the Super Neon Violet

Psstt...i have one mono lid and one double lid...isn't that sad?

Overall:

These circle lens are actually really dark. They almost look completely black if you are in a dim area. I thought it would be a lot more vibrant. The color on the bottle is so deceiving! But i think it's because i have naturally dark eyes, if worn on lighter colored eyes, i think the result will be very different.
It is quite enlarging but not to the extent where it's scary. I think it's the right size. As for comfort, it was pretty good. I've only worn these for 4 hours on that day but my eyes didn't get dry and it didn't hurt. My left eye was a little irritated during the day in some parts but it went away afterwards.

Comfort: 9/10
Color/Vibrancy: 5/10

By the way...Happy Mooncake Festival everyone!

Circle Lens Haul

I splurged.

I bought all these Circle Lens at Pinkyparadise, during that time, they were having a "buy two get one free" code, so i took this opportunity to purchase all the colors i always wanted to try.

I love how they come individually packed, and so protected too!
Those Circle lens cases are that I've never seen before, a lot more bulky than what i'm accustomed to be they are so cute!

I will make a separate review on each one of them once i get a chance to try them all.

So when you open it, it comes in sections, so you just stack them, pretty cool.

This is the Dollyeye Grey. judging by the pictures, it's supposed to look very light.

This is the Barbie King Size Circle Pink (my first pair of pink lenses!! =D )

This is the Princess Mimi Apple Green 15mm (Tsubasa Bambi Series)

This one is the Candy Brown

This purple one was the free one that i got, sorry i don't know the name of it since they never told me or listed it on my receipt.

One is flipped
Opening all the jars and transferring them all into solution is such a hassle! LOL what a mess!
