Misikko HANA Pro 1" Flat Iron Review

Misikko has recently contacted me and asked me to do a review on their HANA Pro 1" Flat iron.
Upon receiving the package, i was very surprised how thoughtfully put together it was. The company had so kindly sent me the iron to review but they had also added a lot of goodies for me, each one packaged so nicely!

And just when i thought this was all to the box, after lifting the bubble wrap, there were more goodies buried under there! They had even included a bottle of HANA shine shield heat protectant.

I was shocked! Thank you misikko for being so thoughtful! They have excellent customer service and the shipping was pretty fast!

So the actual flat iron came with a heat mat and a velvety string bag that you can bring along for travel.

The iron itself came in a tin box which i think is super cute and so easy to store away.
Inside the tin can, a rubber mat is also included, so you won't burn your counter or anything.

The iron was actually in this leather pouch. I was amazed at how much protection it had! So many places to store this iron!

The iron itself is super cute and slimmer than the ones I've used before. You can adjust the heat and it can go up to 450. Typically i would use 300-350 because my hair is already very dry and i'm always paranoid that it will roast my hair even more. But at a lower heat setting, it still does the same job.

There is a handy on/off switch, and a red light will turn on to let you know the iron is heating up. It heats up super fast, within 30 seconds i already put it to use.

Made in Korea.

Sorry for the weird face. This is me with hair just washed and blow dried, so it's big and frizzy!

Dry and frizzy ends. Can't save it.

I love how smooth it feels, it doesn't pull on my hair at all like my other one does. I did not do my entire head, i just went around my hair with the straightener, grabbing large strands of hair to make it not so puffy.

I wish my hair was healthier (sigh), but it definatly straightened my hair a lot and gave it a little bit of a shine.(though my ends remains frizzy due to un-taken care of split ends).

Overall, i really like this iron, it is the best one out of the others i have tried, considering it doesn't pull on my hair, heats up quickly, and makes my hair look shiny and healthy after use.

You can get this iron HERE
It retails for $204.99 but right now it's on sale for $119.98

Not only does Misikko sell Hair straighteners, they also sell curling irons and blow dryers as well. Please check them out!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Review- Circle Lens- Mimi Apple Green 15mm (Tsubasa Bambi series)

Hello my dears,

Finally got around to do this review on the Mimi Apple Green Circle Lens.
These were also purchased from Pinkyparadise, and they are suuuuuper vibrant. I love these, i always loved the look of green eyes. Though they can look a bit unnatural in daylight since Asians don't typically have green eyes, but i think they are so pretty!

You can get these here

Overall

Again, i love these. They are very comfortable, i wore them for a full day and they didn't irritate my eyes. They are very vibrant, and very eye catching. Though a bit unnatural but nothing too crazy i would think. I think the color is very pretty. has some browns in it too.

Comfort: 9/10
Color/Vibrancy: 9/10
Enlargements: 7.5/10
Size: 15mm

Moisturizers

I've been trying out some new moisturizers that i purchased from Hong Kong. What i love about products in Hong Kong is that almost everything comes with whitening properties, which i love because my skin has a lot of discoloring and i have very uneven skin tones. I wish i got more to stock up since i can't find these products here.

First one is by Nivea. It's called Extra Whitening Cell Repair Protect Body Milk.
Don't notice much whitening effects, but i love the texture!

Net is a product by Pond's. Now i was very iffy when trying out Pond's products because the one's i tried here are too greasy for my skin, but since the container looked so cute and the fact that it had whitening effects, i decided to give it a go. And i LOVEEEEE this stuff, it's so smooth and silky, i love how it feels on my skin, and YES instant brightening results! Which i got more!

Pond's flawless white re-brightening night treatment

Been also trying out this new serum. Heard so much about it from beauty guru's and rally wanted to get my hands on them. it's called Hyaluronic Acid Essence by Aquamoist. I put one pump in my hand and pat it all over my face and it dries almost instantly. It's good for keeping moisture in your face, so the moisturizers you put on afterwards will h ave a better effect.

Gel formula

Next product is another brand from Japan called A+Fit- Whitening Essence of dew drop
I usually put this on my face in the morning because it's very light weight. I like something heavier when moisturizing at night. But i love this stuff, once you pub it on, it turns into this liquid-ie texture almost exactly like water. Like MAGIC!!! Feels very fresh and cool afterwards.

gel like consistancy

Last product is my favorite, and was raved so much about on youtube. So glad Sasa were selling them in packs of two for the price of one when i found them. This stuff came from Switzerland, and comes in a tin tube.

Hey guys,

Sorry for my last two posts, I've reached a point where i felt very disappointed with my life and didn't know what to do with myself. Then the vision of my future seemed real foggy and i didn't know how to deal with that. Maybe it's a quarter life crisis (I'm turning 25 this month...). People around me are getting married, having kids, buying houses, building their future and most of all, they have love and support in their life. I'm not getting that feeling, and the fact makes me very scared and very sad. The road ahead is very blurry and i don't know how to take the next step forward.

Thank you for all your reassuring words and taking the time to talk to me as well as offering advice and showing concern. Blogging has always been a happy past time for me, and the best part is meeting all you wonderful people. I wish we can all meet up one day, being scattered around the world is not an easy thing, but then again, my dream is to be able to travel the world. If that ever does get fulfilled, i'm sure i'll be able to meet you lovelies. You guys make the blogging experience that much better for me. Since it's the season to give thanks, i really want to thank all of you that follows my blog. You are all so nice and leave the sweetest comments.

I don't want to be so gloomy, especially in the blogging world. I set up my Christmas tree today and it defiantly made me feel a lot warmer inside.

I want to thank Sharlene from *I-Lashes for giving me this lovely necklace. Back in October, I've won her giveaway when she was doing a "guess what i'm going to be for Halloween". She dressed up as Black Swan (a really hot one!). Thank you Sharlene, i love it so much!
She is so sweet, she also included a cute hello kitty tooth pick holder with a mirror, i've never seen anything like it before! She also wrote a short and sweet card for me <3

I also want to thank Aki! from 7% Solution for giving me "Kreativ Blogger" Award. I feel so "awww" whenever i get these sort of things. Please check her out, she has such a cute blog. She talks about life, fashion, food...everything! Not to mention she's a really good cook too!
I'm sorry i'm not following the rules, but i really don't know which 10 people to give this to since it hink all of you deserve this award and also, another 10 things about myself? I'm really not that interesting.

Sometimes Life gives you little reminders that you don't deserve a lot of things and that things will always be as unfair as you make it out to be.
When you see other people's seemingly perfect lives, it's just a reminder to yourself of how much you screwed up yours to make it as it is today.
