I remember the first time i went to Marineland was when i was around 9 or 10 years old, and i had a blast!! Kiddie rides were the bomb, and looking at dolphins and whales were so magical. Oh and i was a chicken back then and cried and ran away from deers while the others were happily feeding them.
Now fast forward 15 years, this is my second time going and probably the last time i'll ever be going (unless i have a kid of my own one day). I don't remember Marineland being so...small...and so...shall i say...boring?
We walked around the entire place and there was absolutely nothing to do. We went on some kiddie rides (we have no shame), fed some deers (though this time THEY ran away from me most of the time), and looked at some mammals. I think the best part out of the whole day was the dolphin/sea lion show. I can never get sick of those. But other than that, we were pretty bored.
Then we looked around us and realized that everyone were either kids or parents WITH kids. We did not fit in at all. And that's when it hit me (again), i'm getting OLD!!!! *cries*
