I've been there 3 times i believe, one of them being a field trip from kinder-garden =) It's always so much better going with a loved one.
The bf and i went on a very hot day, and i didn't know the castle didn't have air condition. We were sweating like pigs and it was exhausting climbing stairs and going through tunnels and secret passageways. The place was ginormous obviously, a stable (i think it was 6 horses?) and giant garage (the guy had ten cars), an unfinished swimming pool that i think would have looked so beautiful and grand judging by the pictures. In a way the castle was kind of creepy, with the underground tunnels, the weird statues but i love historic places. My favorite is of course the infamous garden! There was a couple getting married there, they were taking pictures in the garden (poor girl, it was so hot!) and we left when the castle was about to close and we saw that they were setting up the wedding reception/dinner where the library would be. Mind you it's a ginormous room.

Me me me!! I wanted to go bc my bf likes those places n museums but no time at all:(... It does sound creeping when u talked about the underground tunnels :S... Btw love ur top!!! N ur hair looks different!! I like :)

I haven't been there once! The tunnels and passages sound cool. Weather in Toronto has been crazy. Sticky and hot 1 week then major rainstorms the next.

Aw I remember going to Casa Loma in gr.2! Well the thing is I only remember GOING.. I don't actually remember much from it. Though I do remember going to one part of the castle where it was in the attic and we saw this vest or something a soldier wore in battle with bullet holes in it o__o Yeah that's all I remember haha! I still have a little mini sticker book I got from there! It really must be nice to go with a loved one ^^ I want to do that someday hehe.

omgg when are u going to HK!??! I REALLY want to go shopping there!! and yea maybe u should make a list of things u really need, then a list u REALLy want.. and TRY not to buy stuff passed the list??!?.. that's wat I always try to do before I go to a place I know I would go crazy shopping!! LOL... the bun things is sooo cute but i think it's kinda too gigantic and formal looking for everyday wear? =[ but maybe I can wear it to my friends wedding in sept =] I need a dress!! omgg!!
ReplyDeleteBB cream are not for me unfortunately... I mean Im super picky with my face makeup much more than my colour makeup.. I feel like no matter how pretty ur colour makeup is, u need a flawless skin or else it will ruin everything.. but yea BB cream do not fit my shade at all!! the oriental one made me feel like I have a purple/lavender face!! cuz it was kinda greyish/whitish/pinkish =[ and i hate it when my face does not match my neck!! Im too yellow/orange-y YUK!!! but I try to use it as a concealer =P just so I dont waste it lol
