Hong Kong Trip/ My travel essentials

Hey Everyone, this is my last post before i head off to Hong Kong in two days! I'll also be going to Taiwan and Macaw.  I'm the type of person who ALWAYS ALWAYS over pack! My boyfriend always scold me. He says, "You're going to Hong Kong, what is there to pack? Just buy everything there!"
But then i'm the worrywart who thinks "what if i can't find anything i like, what if...what if....what if..."

Even on an everyday basis, i always carry too much stuff in my purse, but then again, if anyone needs anything, i'll probably have it =)

I already tried to limit myself this time, and i think i did a good job. If it ends up that i packed too much and i don't have enough room to bring things back, i can always buy another suitcase there hahaha!

So aside from the clothes and all the boring stuff, here are the essentials that i brought with me.

Decided to bring my old TNA bag because it's medium sized and has a zipper, and if i ever break it or loose it, i won't be too heart broken.

Estee Lauder power compact, anti bacterial hand cream, and travel comb
Gravol (i always get car sick, but just in case i get air sick?), and a bottle of advils for evil cramps.
Hello kitty bandages and tissues
Notebook, spare mint, oil blotter papers, and a calculator (because my math is slow)

I bought a bunch of travel bottles to put my liquids in so then i don't have to carry the big bottles. Saves a lot of space and weight.

three different types of moisturizers (love labels!)

I only brought two BB creams with me (i hope it's enough!)
Two paper masks for the plane ride

Travel size shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, acne spot treatment, tea tree oil, toothpaste, emjoi epilator and my clarisonic

As for makeup, i brought very little, because i assume that i won't be wearing a whole lot because the weather will be hot and sticky.

Mary Kay lip balm, Lorac lipstick, mabelline lipstick, viva la juicy rollerball
Two faced palette, wet n wild palette, BB creams

NYX liquid eyeliner, NYX eyebrow pencil, NYX jumbo pencil, and laura mercier mascara

ALSO...

These are my last purchases from Toronto before i leave...

Super cute antibac hand soap from bath and body! It was on sale for $5!!!

faux fur collar thing from H&M. I wanted this so bad from last year but it was sold out, so happy it was back this year! The boyfriend bought this for me <3

clip
I most likely will not have internet access while i'm there unless i am in a wifi area, so i wouldn't be able top blog =(

I'll see you guys in 3 weeks!!!

High Tea at Ruelo

It was my girlfriend's birthday last week, and i had my first high tea experience ( yeah i know, I've been living under rock, it's really my first time!) We went to this place called Ruelo Patisserie, it's a very small place with very limited tables and space. I wouldn't quite say it's an officially high tea place, more like a cake and coffee shop because it lacks the fancy table ware and all that awesome stuff. But we had an awesome time sipping tea and catching up.

Cappacino was super bitter!

Review: Circle Lens - Dolly Eye Grey

I love outrageous colored contacts, especially the ones that are super vibrant!
These contacts are purchased from Pinkyparadise, if anyone is interested, the direct link to these circle lens are here.

These ones are called: Dolly Eye Grey

Overall
These are so vibrant that you can see them in very very dim light, it completely covered my natural eye color and it's awesome for Halloween! Haha. The only down side to this is that it's not for everyday wear, unless you don't mind scarring people on a daily basis. It was also not very comfortable on me. I had to take them off within 4 hours because they were very drying, even after i put eye drops in. It may be different for others but i think my eyes are always on the dryer side.

Comfort: 5/10
Color/Vibrancy: 10/10
Enlargements: 7/10
Size: 14.2mm

Estee Lauder/MAC Warehouse sale

I never been to these warehouse sales before because i never got the invitations, but this year, one of my clients who works for Estee Lauder happened to have a few in hand and graciously gave me two!
I should have brought a girl with me, but it was very last minute, so of course i dragged the boyfriend with me, who of course has absolutely no interest in makeup and knows nothing about the things girls go crazy over.

But it was a good thing i brought him since i was born without any self control (what the heck is it?). And he's always telling me to SAVE SAVE SAVE!!!

I only bought two lipsticks since i never tried any of their stuff before and was afraid to AND i had to save :(

Circle Lens Review- Violet

Hey everyone, as from my previous post, you know i have purchased a few circle lens from pinkyparadise. The shipping time took about a week and a half...which i think is a bit long because i bought from a different company before and it only took them 3 days to have it shipped to my home.

Regardless.

I'm going to do a review on the first pair that i tried on. It's a violet color but i'm not quite sure of the name. This was the free one i got when i used the "buy 2 get one free" code. But i know it's from EOS and after going through their circle lens the one that i think comes the closest is the Super Neon Violet

Psstt...i have one mono lid and one double lid...isn't that sad?

Overall:

These circle lens are actually really dark. They almost look completely black if you are in a dim area. I thought it would be a lot more vibrant. The color on the bottle is so deceiving! But i think it's because i have naturally dark eyes, if worn on lighter colored eyes, i think the result will be very different.
It is quite enlarging but not to the extent where it's scary. I think it's the right size. As for comfort, it was pretty good. I've only worn these for 4 hours on that day but my eyes didn't get dry and it didn't hurt. My left eye was a little irritated during the day in some parts but it went away afterwards.

Comfort: 9/10
Color/Vibrancy: 5/10
Enlargements: 7/10

By the way...Happy Mooncake Festival everyone!
